The Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys will each be looking to come away with their first win of the preseason when the two teams meet at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, August 29 at AT&T Stadium.

The Vikings have a 10-3 record and NFL betting lines opened with them as 5-point favorites against the Colts who have lost six of their last seven games.

I got back on track with my Week 4 teaser bet — barely thanks to the Eagles going to OT with the Commanders — but a win is a win. My teaser record on the season sits at an even 2-2 as we dive into the Week 5 odds. 

This is a tricky slate as far as teaser bets are concerned as NFL odds have just one favorite in that coveted 6-to-8.5-point range that we can tease down inside of three points. The TNF odds feature one team making a playoff push led by a former Super Bowl MVP, and the other features a team that thought it would be in that exact situation this December. Unfortunately for the New York Jets, the front office let Joe Flacco go and opted for Aaron Rodgers.

Nobody expected this season to play out the way it has for the Jets and Browns with their respective quarterback situations, and certainly nobody saw Flacco playing at this level. He’s been so good the NFL odds have Cleveland as 7.5-point favorites in what will be a game defined by quarterback play.
